I am currently on Holiday in the US and want to buy a new Camcorder and have a budget of around 1200 dollars .

I have seen a nice Sony Camera but it says NTSC 24 frames per second so if I took this back to the UK and wanted to use this camera to capture footage with would there be any issues ??

    Thanks

You want a camera with PAL capabilities.

    If it’s only 24fps, that’s right. UK is 25fps.

On the other hand, check the small print as some are actually switchable so 25fps might be an option you can select if you go into the menus.

You hardly will find camcorders with both standards.
Your option is to shot p24 and conform with CinemaTools to p25.
in the long run probably you will get tired with that workflow.

You may have a look to the big video-gear shops (Adorama, BHPhoto).
Is possible they can get you PAL devices.

Many cameras shoot 50i or 60i. Mine does.
