I just discovered Look Suite 2 on my computer and can’t seem to make it work.
Not even sure where I got it but a little research told me that it’s from Magic Bullet.

When I try to drag one of the “Looks” on to the timeline I get the message AE EFFECTS ERROR: “Unable to find plugin “MB Look Suite FCP”. Do you wish to load it from another directory?”

I saw other people had issues like this but I couldn’t succinctly find the solution. Do I have to pay Magic Bullet to get it to work or do something easy and locate another directory like it asks for. If so where do I look? Is it in AE?

    Any help?

How did you “discover” a set of plugins on your computer?

This is a PAID plugin set…one from http://www.redgiantsoftware.com. From the sound of it, it appears you have the Look Suite 2 PROJECT FILE, but not the actual plugin itself. The LOOK SUITE project file is a set of pre-built “looks” that reference the main Magic Bullet plugin. Without the plugin…they won’t work.

As I said, this is a PAID plugin set. If you want it…gonna have to pay for it.

I’m kind of a newbie at this so please forgive my lack of knowledge but you’re right. It is a “project” file. Can you tell me where the project file came from? With AE which I did buy or with FCP which I bought also?

    Thanks.

That’s just it…I don’t know how you got it. It doesn’t come with FCP nor AE. You have to buy it separately.

As Shane says, what you got is just an FC project with some presets. If you want them to work you need to install the MagicBullet Editors for FC.
