Wondering if anyone has any inside knowledge (or can deduce well) how they get the look on the ABC show “The Forgotten”? Not a huge fan of the show itself, but I’m liking the heavy backlit, high-contrast style. I’d bet that they’re shooting digital, but the highlights seem to have pretty smooth falloff for how strong they are. Interested what insight some of the pros in this forum can throw down!

Since no one is responding, I will.

The Forgotten’s look, to my eye, is standard, zone system type of stuff. The cinematographer does a fine job of motivating light.
