Longer than normal renders
Hi All:
I am working on a series that has been mastered at EX cam because of the Harris Server we work with. We had to take the project out of house and stayed on drives with the same codec. Now we added some pro rez stuff from another server and the renders are saying conforming to mpeg 2 and taking up to 3 minutes for a 6 second render. Any thoughts?Thanks

Turn off “Full” in your render settings under the sequence menu. That stops the conform business. I would also set the timeline to render in ProRes, but that’s up to you.
