longer (than 63 minute) recording tapes

I just saw the post the the miniDV tapes (63AMQs) have been discontinued?? (sniff)
I have a 3 day lecture series coming up and was wondering what people think of using the 120 minute tapes? Are they as well rated and behaved as the 63 minute ones? Any suggestions? -

Yeah just switch tapes, surely they can live with a 30 second gap. If not, grab a second camera or a Firestore.
