    Hi

I am currently working on a documentary project and hit quite snag….
The source clips sometimes run up to 30 min and are cut up to 12-15 shots in the film that are widely different so I keep remote versions for different places.
My problem is that I got a new edit today and when add a timeline and mealy select right versions all tracking data is lost 🙁 can I maintain this window tracking data somehow? Can I automatically split up the master timeline so I would have the correct tracking data available in versioning?

    Thank You
    Kaspar

Never-mind it works, it was just very similar shot but different position in original footage.

    Thank You

[Margus Voll] “just get locked project from client and life is sweet :)”

Yes, I have three clients that I always get locked projects from: Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. Also an unnamed executive at Apple who said that the project is “probably” locked, and I’ll get it sometime “late” next year. I love fables, they’re so, I don’t know…. “Creative“.

then it just is the matter of organizational skills or fixing timelines and deadlines.
i hardly get santa clause effect.

if too creative then time will end and next client comes in.
