I am trying to re-create the style of long shadow seen in the video below:

    https://vimeo.com/174142915

I need to supply the final After Effects file to the client so can’t use any plugins they won’t have, unless I can apply the Expression Universalizer to the final file before supplying.

I have tried the Long Shadow plugin. However this does not give me the same level of blurriness that is shown in the example video.

Even if it is a long winded manual way of applying this effect, what would be the best way of doing so? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Its probably an actual shadow created by an actual light. with a high difuusion shadow. Might have to be in ray trace 3d mode under composition settings
