Long rendering time
I’m absolutely new to After Effects, when I click RAM preview it takes forever to render. It renders about 1 frame every second. There’s 2886 total for a 1:36 clip…was recorded at 640×480 resolution.
Specs
MSI gx630 laptop
AMD Athlon 2GHz Dual Core
4GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
Nvidia 9600m GT with 512mb DDR3 -

Sometimes rendering takes a long time. A frame per second is not a long time in the context of visual effects and compositing. Expect the old timers to now chime in and tell you about how lucky you are to get 1 second per frame rendering times with any compositing or animation software.
