  • long movie — please help export FCP audio to DVD

i’m exporting a 2.2 hr movie from FCP to DVD.

here’s how i was advised by a friend/technical advisor (now out of reach).

    ————————

    export using quicktime conversion
choose mpeg2, and choose settings, the higher the settings, the longer it takes.

choose a folder to render to, make sure you have at least 6 gigs or so.

then, open a.pack to render the audio. select 2 channel, left right audio.
input the sound files render with the mpeg in each selection, and make sure you select to render the file out as an AC3 file.

let the computer do its work.

bring both files into dvd studio pro, and voila, add chapter marks, etc.

    —————————————

i’m confused about the audio part. what are the steps, in order, regarding rendering the audio, then bringing it into A.pack., etc., and how will this effect a stereo arrangement? thank you so much.
