long compressed video stops and goes
hi guys…sorry i tried to look this up but i’m not having any luck
we tried to compress an 8 minute video for a site of a film we did
it appears to hesitate in some spots….sometimes stall etc.
this has been happening now and again with some of our videos.
are we doing something in the compression that will make this happen
or is the video to long ?we are using mac g-5…squeeze 4.5 and we compress to swf files

Hi,
I am having this problem too but I’m thinking it is because I’m playing back the video using a compact flash video player and I set my MPEG2 settings at 15mb data rate CBR. It has a stutter playback so I’m going to try VBR and maybe lower the data rate.
Let me know if you get to the bottom of this.

so far no go…
the funny thing is it stops at exactly the same spot and than picks up at the same spot
so i thought it was my video…but it works fine when it’s not embeded
