Hello again, i have a little problem i hope someone can shed some light on.

I’m trying to make a template for a title here at work.
It’s supposed to be a still image with text on it but the problem is when i try to put a logo in the titler nothing appears. There’s nothing wrong with the image itself (tried both a .psd and a .png to preserver alpha channels) but all that appears when i insert it in the titler is an empty box (the box seems to be the same size as the image though).

    Am i missing something here?

I’m not sure why you would put an image in the Titler.

If you put your PSD file in Premier it would show just fine.
then just add your text from the Titler.

    Here’s another option –
Do all your work in Photoshop (pictures and text) and then just import your file as layers.

I want an image in the title to make a preset. It’s for a nameplate so i’ll need to use it more than once and i figured making a preset would be the simplest way of keeping the look of the nameplate the same.

i’m pretty sure the titler is supposed to support this so i’m not looking for another way to do it just need to know if somebody has any idea why my image won’t show up (tried with another psd file and it worked perfectly, it seems it’s only the image that i want that doesn’t work :))

Although it was not the solution i was looking for i thank you for taking the time to answer.

The PSD you want to use must be doing or using something different that the other Photoshop file you tested. Colour space. Other option is to copy the content layers of the logo and paste them into an new PS file…

Just a guess: Check that the PSD is in RGB, not CMYK space.

Or just save it out as a different type of file. Maybe TGA?.
