Is converting logo text to shape a good way to change it to a vector? What are good ways to go about making sure that it will look correct at any size? Also, if I need to save it as an .ai file, what’s the best way to do that? Thanks everyone.

If you need to deliver an Illustrator file (.ai), why not just build the logo in Illustrator? That way the entire logo will be vector, which is generally what you want with a logo. I always build logos in Illustrator and place into Photoshop when needed.

Well I had already built the logo in PS, since that’s all I had on the computer that I was on. I re-created the logo in AI on my other computer. I have to get the knack of AI better, but I’m catching on. 🙂
