    Is there a way to see what time my computer logged off and on the day before?
    I think somebody was using my computer after hours when I was not here….

    Actually, that was helpful.
    Looks like Logout timed out because Motion wouldn’t quit. Thanks!

    There is an easy way. Open up terminal.app (under the utilities folder in Applications) and type

    last

    You’ll get a list like this showing the user name and login/logout times :

    $ last
    jerry ttys060 Wed Feb 9 11:20 still logged in
    jerry ttys014 Tue Feb 8 09:25 – 15:30 (06:05)
    jerry ttys021 Thu Feb 3 11:28 – 11:28 (00:00)
    jerry ttys021 Thu Feb 3 11:26 – 11:26 (00:00)
