Help! I’m in the field right now and I’m trying to log timecode on my EX1. But since it’s clip based, it resets to 00:00:00 at the start of each clip!

How can I get a traditional tape-like running cumulative timecode so I can log my shots?

It certainly doesn’t reset every clip (unless when can actually set up the internal camera time code generator to do that).

    Use the free Sony ClipBrowser
Sony XDCAM Transfer will work too if you’re on a Mac with Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 and up.

I generally use clock timecode so I know when each clip was recorded.
I’ve also use record run so it advances sequentially. It doesn’t reset though.
