Logging EX files
Hi! Is there a software or a way I can log my XDCAM EX files without using media composer? Wherein I can get an ALE file so I can automatically Batch import the files? I hope there is.

Better yet, update to the current version (3.5) and use Avid’s AMA function. You can mount the volumes that have your EX media and immediately see the clips and even start editing with them if you choose.
You can also use this to select the ones you want to keep, and then transcode them if you want to. But you don’t have to, you can just continue using them to edit with.
Zero import time.
