logging: can you input numbers from a paper edit
Call me crazy, but I don’t see how you’re supposed to enter a “paper edit” list of timecode numbers for batch capture. Does batch capturing really require you to scrub through the tape, hit the I and O keys, etc.? Or is there a way to input a paper edit list, type it up, and let FCP do its thing?
Sorry if this has been covered — I did a search and maybe I am just not using the correct terminology.

If you have the paper edit done in a spread sheet with the right column format you can import it as a batch list. Otherwise you can input TC numbers into the log and capture window and save the clip as an offline logged item.
