    Hi people,

This is a little off-topic but I thought I’d ask. Have any of you come across a product that allows batch capturing clips off DVD in a similar manner to how we log off PP? I have been provided with a bunch of footage in DVD format and a very long list of little clips that need to be cut from these. Usually only a few seconds. It would be awesome if I could type in the list of timecodes and then just set the thing going to grab all the clips and convert to AVI or whatever.

Looked at some stuff from TMPgenc but not sure if they can do batching without having to preview the DVD first (which is what takes all the time). As a last resort I could just convert the whole DVD into AVI and then just cut it up with PP, but considering we have MANY of these, chances are I might need a lot more HDD space 🙁

    Cheers
    Lev…

Not exactly “batch capturing”, but take a look at Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0
