    Hi Gang,

So I’m curious if anyone has a good method of logging already transcoded qt files that I’m importing into FCP. I have transcoded low res 422 proxy files to edit with, and will conform later. I have a mountain of footage, and I like the ability to view each clip, and log at the same time. Right now, all I’m aware I’m able to do is enter all the data in my browser window in FCP. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

That’s how it works. Open the clip in the Viewer. Watch it…make notes in whatever fields you want in the Browser. If you want to break that clip up, use Subclips.
