Thank you for taking your time to help.

I am logging a large interview that has a V2 layer for subcaps. I just logged a huge interview and realized that In the process of making sub-sequences I had not selected the V1 or A1 and A2. The only thing on each of the subsequence clips is the V2 subcap data. Is there an easier way to fix this than redoing each clip? We are talking about a day of work here. In a subclip I can just hit match frame to go to the main clip. Even this functionality would help my situation. Ideally I would turn on the video 1 and audio layers and it would magically light up. I hope this is not wishful thinking.

    Thanks for your time.

Do you still have the original string-outs available either in the bin or via the Attic?

Yes I do. They are in a bin.

Then the two should have the same record side timecode which is preserved when you sub-sequence out. Load up the string-out, load the subcap version into the source monitor by dragging, and then overwrite by aligning the timecodes.
