    Logged Clips Not In Bin….and then error

    I am trying to capture some DV footage through firewire from a Sony Deck. This has worked before, but now the clips do not go into my bin. They go into the proper folder on my capture drive, then if I try to drag them into the bin I get “File Error: Unknown File” The clip plays fine in Quicktime Player. The codec I am using is DV/DVCPRO – NTSC. I also tried to drag in clips from early captures but I get the same error.

    I re-installed FCP and seems to be working fine now.

    Hi Mark,
    Probably this is not the reason of your problems, but i think that FC 5..4 will be more happy with Tiger than with the last version of Leopard.
