    Hello,
I have been having a logging issue in FCP. What happens is, if my DSR-11 has to FFW to an in point the timecode in my log/capture windows goes to 00:00:00. This causes my capture to abort. This sucks when I am trying to capture 30-40 clips and everytime FCP tries to go to the next clip it aborts.

I assumed first that it was a DSR problem, or the camera used to record the footage was messed up, but after talking with other editors that handle tapes from the same camera and use a DSR-11, no one else is having problems…

Anyone else ever have this problem?

    Thanks.

Try changing the device control preset in the log and capture window to firewire basic.

What kind of camera was it shot on? It sounds to me that LTC wasn’t recorded.
