log & capture
hi there, i having big problems capturing footage from a couple of DV tapes. it captures for about 5 seconds (using capture now) then it stops. and an error message comes up saying capture encourtered a problem reading the data on the source tape?? am i doing something wrong? any suggestions? please help!!

Check your capture settings, if that doesn’t help, trash your prefs.

In addition to Chris’ good suggestions…
Make sure your Capture Now is set to “Limit Capture Now to… 30 minutes or less.
Better yet, LOG an in-point and out-point on your selected clips and then use “Batch Capture”.
Many do not have good results with Capture Now.
