Log & Capture – Clip settings
New to FCP here… I’m using an AJA Io LA and in the Log & Capture window the Input setup adjustments are greyed out. I’ve checked the manual, but can’t seem to figure out what’s up??? I’m thinking is some small checkbox or option I’ve overlooked & someone here can help me out. Everything else seems to be working fine.. we are bringing in Analog footage (Beta SP) through the AJA IO LA But in the Log & capture window we are trying to adjust the setup to match the color bars on each tape, but these options are greyed out. I know that these adjustments cannot be made when importinig directly from a DV cam over firewire, but when an analog I/O device is used they should become available. Is this feature just not supported w/ the AJA Io LA??

That is correct. The proc amp controls are not available using Io or LA. The control panel that AJA is working on is supposed to have those adjustments when the full release version is available. For now you need to control those setting from your Beta SP deck, or use the proc amp filter after your capture (I also like the 3 way color correction filter).Lee
