Log and transfer window status queue idle
Hi there,
I have Final Cut Pro 7 and when in log and transfer I am having problems converting Canon 5D footage to Apple Prores.
When any clip is placed in the status queue to convert, a ! symbol appears and it says clips are idle.
It also says at the bottom of the status queue window that the disk space is 0.All settings on FCP are set to my external hard drive (which has room), and even my mac has 10GB of space, so I’m not sure where the 0 comes from, or how to change it.
Can anyone help?? Thanks

So you set your CAPTURE SCRATCH to an external drive with lots of space?
Try the clips one at a time…again and again. Sometimes it can take a couple attempts to get things to work.

Thanks for advice – I just found out what the problem was.
My FCP’s capture scratch is permanently set to my external hard drive.
By setting it to my mac’s internal hard drive and then setting it back to my external hard drive, it somehow registered everything properly and now it’s working.
