Log and Transfer troubles in Final Cut 6
Hey,
I am trying to name clips in the Log and Transfer window of Final Cut 6. The footage was shot on P2 cards.
I have been having some difficulty with naming clips. For example I would name a clip and then add it to the queue and it would transfer fine. However sometimes it does not let me name the clip at all and I have to transfer the clip with its metadata name. In this instance the progress bar would almost get to the end but then it would stop and the clip would say “clip idle” and then to error.
It find it very strange that the footage will not transfer after naming the clip. I found that if I converted the clip back to its metadata name in the top left window and added it to queue the clip would transfer fine.
I would be grateful for any help!
