Ok… I’m breaking down and asking for help.

I’m shooting on the Panasonic 170 onto P2 cards.
Editing on Final Cut Pro 6.0.1.

I’ve done this a million times before and have had no issues.
My job purchased new gear (same gear but new) and I have an issue.

Shot footage onto the P2 cards. 720p24. I can see the footage on the cards and play them in the log and transfer window.

When I drag the clips to the queue and start transferring, the queue pauses and a red exclamation point appears. I read a few blogs and tried to uncheck the “remove advance pull down” and same thing. That darn red exclamation point.

PLEASE HELP! I also have CS5 on my computer, but I only know how to edit in final cut. So worst case, I guess I can import and transfer footage in premier, but I still need to import them into final cut for editing. And either way… Im a loser because I don’t know premier.

    Any help is much appreciated

Don’t ingest media off the camera.
    Get P2CMS software from Panasonic.
Ingest media first to hard drive. Back it up.
    Then Log & Transfer.
A card reader would be even better.
