    Hi All,

I’m having some problems trying to get some clips off a Panasonic HDC-SD10 on to FCP using the Log and Transfer option in FCP 6.0.1.

I’m able to view the thumbnails for all the clips in the left hand pane and it accurately shows the time lengths of each clip. However, they will not play in the preview pane on the right and it just remains black. When I try and add them to the queue, it appears to do something for about 5 seconds and then a red exclamation mark appears and a tooltip says ‘Error: No Data’.

I have read a few other posts about this, but the ones with solutions are all relating to FCE.

I could be wrong about this, but I’m pretty sure you need to update your version of FCP 6 to the last version of it to get AVCHD files to work right in Log and Transfer.
