You can do it either way…

But, the Sony Transfer software is the only way to do a data transfer. Log and capture is the old way of doing it that I prefer for most projects. Short projects like commercials and short stand-ups, I’ll use the Sony software for that.

Sony will release a new version of the software sometime at the end of September.
