log and transfer for final cut express
I shot a bunch of footage on hvx 200, P2 cards, they were dumped thru fcp to my hard drive. I want to get them in to FCE but the message I get says
Warning, “0001wy.mov” contains un supported media or has invalid directory structure. please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media
I am a beginner with final cut, what do i do?

P2 is a media card. It’s not a format. What format did you shoot exactly on the P2 card? FCE is a resolution specific application. It only works with DV and HDV from tape and with AVCHD from a memory card or disk. Most likely you will need to convert the material in FCP to either DV or the Apple Intermediate Codec depending on what you shot.
