I’m usully shooting AVC-intra with my HPX 300, but I needed a second camera and shot DVCPro HD 720 with an HVX 200. I am attempting to import via Log and Transfer on a PowerBook 2.4 GHz intel duo core machine as I’m on the road. All I get is the audio channels and a white screen for the duration of the clip.

It seems to be a “codec not found” kind of thing but I’ve downloaded drivers from Panasonic, searched High and Low through the Cow but I’m stumped. Ant assistance would be greatly apreciated.

FCP is all set to L&T P2 Material shot in DVCPROHD codec.
You shouldn’t need to hunt down anything extra or new.

Have you off-loaded the card media onto the computer 1st?
Do you have P2CMS software free from Panasonic?
You can use that to off-load cards and VERIFY as you transfer but you can also look at the clips and play them there.
