  • Log and Transfer cutting off p2 clips…

Posted by Tim Baker on September 27, 2011 at 8:00 pm

I only saw one archive comment and it really was not the same as my issue.

I have footage that I have logged and transferred and it appears that FCP is cutting off my footage…at the least a couple seconds on the tail and most times more upon Log and Transfer. In the L&T window…I can scroll thru and see the whole clip, but it is not all there upon transfer.

The footage was shot in 720PN at 24 frames on my HPX170. I have never seen this issue before. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am fortunate that I am pretty habitual about rolling plenty of tail, but some of the these clips I need back what I lost.

    Thanks in advance.

Is your remove advanced frames checked in your L & T preferences?

Yep…it sure was…how have I never run into that before…is it due to the 24frames? I dont shoot in that a lot…if ever really?

So how do I “fix” my clips in my bin? Do I have to delete them and do a new L&T?
