Log and Transfer
I have a Sony sr7 AVCHD. When I transfer to Final cut it take 1/2 realtime is there a way to increase the speed of this process? I have core 2 Duo 2GHz iMac 24″. I noticed that both cores are running at 80% load. is usb too slow to transfer so the CPU run full load? Do you think that its better to choose ProRes 422 codec over Intermediate codec?

No it’s always slow like 2 to 4 times real time.
I was expecting much faster…
