How to capture DV video to HDV project.Thank you jerry

Capture DV as DV…via firewire using the DV/NTSC Easy Setup. You cannot capture DV as HDV unless you had a capture card…but then you wouldn’t want to capture DV as HDV as HDV is a very odd format, and you won’t want to CONVERT anything TO that format.
Want to mix HDV and DV? Edit in a ProRes HD timeline…you will have to upscale the DV manually.
