Log and Capture can’t find timecode IN point
Device control works.
I mark IN and OUT points for capture.
When I press “capture”, FCP can not find IN point.
For example: if IN point is 00:01:00:00 device rewinds to 00:00:57:00, then fast forwards to 00:01:03:00, but never stops and can’t seem to find the IN point.
Is there a problem with my device? (it’s a fairly low-end DV Cam)
I’m lost here… -

If there are enough handles on your tape, then I would think it’s your camera, bad cables or both. Workaround is capture now.
