log and capture
I am trying to log and capture mini DV footage. I’m working off two computers though and I’m not sure if the problem lies there or if it’s the firewire. My version of FCP is 5.0.1 and my boss’s is 5.0.4. Does that make any difference? The message that comes up says I have to change my capture presets, but I have tried everything. Any suggestions?

Also, make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime installedn. It may not be the problem, but I had problems capturing because of a quicktime bug. Installing the latest quicktime upgrade fixed that.
