Log And Capture
Hello,
I have the AG-HPX500P Camera along with MAC Book Pro 2.5 GHz running MAC OSX 10.5.5. I was wondering can you “log and capture” live while shooting footage? If so do I need any extra equipment? When I connect my camera to my mac book via the 1394 cable, the P2 icon shows up on my desktop, however when I launch final cut pro (6.0.4) it prompts me saying can not load the device (camera)? Am doing something wrong?

Don’t have my HVX200 handy to double check this but what camera record settings are you using. I know 720 @ 24pN and 30pN with not work.
Don’t worry about the warning. Open Log and Capture (not Log and Transfer) and you should see the live feed and you should be able to do a capture now.
