hi guys and gals, great site and sv8 is a great programme but i need help. I have abou a half hour film in the making made up so far of about 100 or so clips all with various transitions in between. I now want to insert a new clip about 5 mins in. How can I temporarily ‘lock’ all the clips together to move the whole thing along, so I can generate the space to insert my new clip? Without this facility, I dont see how I can insert anything without messing up my otherwise carefully edited and blended clips. They all push into each other.
    PLEEEEZE help!

Go to the toolbar and activate the RIPPLE EDIT function (or press Ctrl L). This allows you to insert an event while all the other events move away. Note that you can select several options about how the ripple edit will behave…
