Back in FCP 7, heck even Avid and Premiere, I used to be able to lock and unlock V1, select the entire track with the transport tool and move it around on its own. Is there any control like this in FCPX? any way to select the entire secondary storyline and move it independent of the primary storyline? I really liked those track controls, they worked well.

Does this make sense to anyone? I think I might have lost my marbles a bit…

    Things are gettin’ interesting…

The bar on top of the additional storyline is called the shelf. Grab the shelf and drag to move the whole storyline.

    All the best,

    Tom
