Lock Video Move Audio

Thanks Dave, but not at all what I was asking. Sorry If I was unclear.

In the past when I move around layers, audio or video, let’s say I drag video to layer 2, then click shift to hold it in place and move audio of the same clip to the audio track I want. Makes it a very seamless motion.

That shift to hold in place seems to have vanished…

Any ideas?

You might try out working with the “Drag Video Only” button on your source monitor tool panel. It’s icon is a small film strip looking rectangle. There is an audio only option as well, that icon looks like an audio waveform.
