lock unlock
we’re prepping photos for inclusion in a film, editing on avid. using photoshop cs in both mac and pc. our editor says the CDs we give her are locked, that is, she can’t change anything about them after importing them to the avid without doing a SAVE AS. This is different from Constrain Proportions in Image Size. but we can’t seem to find the UNLOCK button.

Try selecting the file and hitting command I to get the info box, there should be a lock check box there. If your using OS X on the mac, select all your files and hit command I, click the check box once and it will apply the change to all the files.
