January 7, 2008 at 3:20 pmEdward is correct, of course, you can’t lock a track in Vegas, you may only lock events found on a track.
However, the industry term “Locked track” is common, and many NLE’s offer the ability to lock a complete track at the header.
This has been requested for Vegas in the past.Douglas Spotted Eagle

March 24, 2008 at 12:42 pmI find the ability to lock events quite useful, but it would be better to bind a keyboard shortcut to it. Bad news, because it doesn´t work for me. Non of the choosen keyboard shortcut works for locking an event.
Is this a bug in Vegas (8)? -
