lock layer properties
Hi everybody.
I want to lock the layer properties by expressions (e.g. position).
I have a layer with a mask. I changed the layer position by keyframes and now I want to go on making changes to the mask.
For this I want to lock the position of the layer (with all it keyframes) to save it.
I found out how to lock it in general, but not how I can keep all my keyframes.Thanks for any suggestions.

If you add anecpression like
[400,200]
the layer will always be at that position, regardless of the keyframes.
You can also edit the mask in the layer viewer instead of in the comp viewer. -
thanks for the answer, but that’s what I already found out. isn’t their any expression I can use to lock the layer position (such as I can lock a whole layer)not at one certain position, but keeping all position keyframes? I don’t want the layer to stay at that one position. I want to move it with my position keyframes. I only want to lock the position keyframes to avoid to do any unintentional changes.
