    New to Resolve…

I am trying to load/open a project in Resolve. I read that Resolves saves projects to Library/PostgreSQL/8.4. I’ve checked here, and I am unable to find the project file.

I am wondering did I not save properly or is there a chance it ended up in a different location? I’ve tried searching with no results.

Also, I have a sequence from FCP that is 29.97. I rendered it out from Resolve set to 30. Would this cause the graded sequence to be 2 seconds off from the original?

    Hi Samantha.

For sake of clarity, Resolve opens, exports and imports Resolve projects. You do this from Resolves Project Manager.

If you export a FCP XML you can use that to import the timeline in Resolves Conform page.

When you save a Resolve project you are saving the metadata to recreate that project, not media which you need to handle yourself.

If you can clarify your problem and provide more details we can assist further.

Its a good idea to read the manual too as there is a lot of examples there for round trip XML operation.

    Peter
