    Greetings All!

I am trying to load HDV material from a Canon HV-30 into FCP via HDMI with a LHi card. It does not seem to be seeing it at all and there is not much info on HDMI input for the LHi (at least that I can find).

Is this even possible? I am sure there is a step I am missing or something…

    Thanks much!

FYI we are on FCP 6.05

    Hey Gary!

I am on a brand new MacPro 8 core, FCP 6.05, AJA control panel 7.1, KONA LHi with BOB. The system is attached to UNITY storage.

I am connecting the Canon HV30 via HDMI

I have yet to try to see it through FCP because when I am looking at the AJA control panel it does not seem to be seeing the signal at all.

I haven’t found any documentation yet on exactly how to do this – but perhaps I am not looking in the right places?

    Thanks for any help!

Have you tried using FireWire to connect to the hv20?That should work. No real benefit in using hdmi.
