LiveU Cellular Plans
We are considering replacing our live-streaming hardware and getting a LiveU Solo Pro – finally HEVC! Im finding it nearly impossible to get any information about the services and cell plans that accompany it. I can’t think of another company with such terrible customer/sales service. Also with so little actual detail on their products.
What I mainly want to know is that if the cell plans LiveU offers for Solo are similar to the broadcast ones which offer tower skipping and priority service. Or are they just run of the mill data plans, in which case it is 75% cheaper to get my own data plans.

Per a LiveU representative: Data plans offered for Solo/Solo Pro are essentially the same plans as LiveU’s professional products used today, except Solo/Solo Pro data plans are unlimited, and you can learn more about those options here: https://get.gosolo.tv/soloconnect
Essentially, these plans are offered based upon the connectivity kit purchased (modems) and have the following options available:
The SoloConnect 2 two modem kit requires a 2 modem unlimited data plan with LRT Cloud server for just $295 per month or $2,950 per year (prepaid). The SoloConnect 3 two USB modem plus MiFi kit requires a 3 modem unlimited data plan with LRT Cloud server for just
$435 per month or $4,350 per year (prepaid). Please note the 3 modem kit is being discontinued by the end of this month in favor of a future 4 modem kit as the MiFi units contained within are harder to source.
