If this has been asked before I apologize. I’m coming back to FCP after having been on AVID for a couple of years.

Question: Why, even after rendering, does my Livetype graphic resolution look very poor in a FCP Sequence. But if I render out a sample quicktime, say using the Animation codec, it is clean. If I lay off a show to tape by just playing down the timeline, will the graphics look clean or crappy?

I’m editing in DV. Easy Setup in FCP is set to DV/Panasonic DVCPRO, NTSC-DV. In Livetype the project properties are set to NTSC-DV 3:2. I even made sure the field dominance matches FCP.

Any thoughts on what is happening here? Thanks
