I updated my OS to Snow Leopard and now LiveType will suddenly quit when ever I try to open or save a file from within the application. I can still open a file from the FCP timeline, change it and re-save it without issue. I just can’t open a file from within LiveType or save or save-as a file. In short, I can change an exisiting file but cannot create a new one.
As a note, I stupidly upgraded to Snow Leopard rather than taking the time to do a clean install and now have a multitude of issues with things not running right. I have a new drive and will be doing the painstaking clean install of everything in the next week or so. In the meantime, I need to get LiveType running again to get through a few projects in order to have the time for the clean install. Anyone have any ideas on how to get LiveType back up and running?

Did you do a clean install or just upgrade over leopard?
I’m guessing that those applications need to be re-installed if you just did an upgrade.
