First I am going through the manual…

1-I’m trying to do a scale in a new filter in attributes. but unfortunately it’s not tracking out the leaders so they blow up on top of each other. When I manually track at my keyframes (600%), a space appears between the letters of a word, and I can’t kern/track anything back to fill the space without all the letters moving as well – even though I have only one letter selected.

2-I created a new HD template per the manual. Unfortunately when I click open templates, it does NOT show up in the HD projects, but in SD, even though it still has the HD paraameters (720 30fps).

3-I can’t access my new custom HD template in Motion. Is this normal? Can I create a LiveType template in Motion?

4-Is there any sort of graphical keyframe editor on the timeline a la FCP/AE/Combustion? Not just the keyframe location, but the ability to set position, scale and other values?

5-How do I control the gradual increase of a parameter (like a blur). So far it seems to almost immediately pop in. Are there timing settings I should be dealing with?

Really powerful program, but this possible lack of more sophisticated keyframing is a bit surprising. Again, I am reading the manual as I go, but may have missed something – right in front of my face.

    Thanks,
    -Les
