Live Video Mixing
Hi guys, sorry this is question is not exactly about after effects… but I thought I’d give my trusted design heads a try…
Any names of programs (pref for the mac) that could be used for “live” video mixing / visual fx .. (like for a live performance show…) to create live changing, manipulated graphics…and mix multiple video files together at will?

Some things on Apple’s Motion can be done live, using a MIDI controller. Check out the Motion COW for more.

here is a long list of vj programs. Most for manipulating and mixing clips and image elements in real time and/or with midi control.Of that list I would recommend MidiVid. It was written and designed by a two friends of mine.
