I’m importing fonts from Live Type into my FCP HD timeline. They look terrible (rough edges), nothing like the live type .mov by itself. I exported at the same ratio (720×480) and field (lower(even)). The only thing different from the fcp sequence is that the fonts are compressed “animation” rather than “dv/dvcpro-ntsc.” Am I missing something?

Are you looking at the rendered output on a video monitor?

    All the best,

Try saving the LT Project, then import that into FCP. Forget about saving a .mov. FCP will import the project itself, then you just render in FCP.
